An altered transparent angle scan of the Brute Mauler (Type-52 Pistol) of Halo 3, taken from the Halo Encyclopedia. Combines the power of a shotgun with the dexterity of a revolver. Magazine Size: five shells, with a max of 25 (5 mags) when single-wielded, or with 50 (10 mags) when dual-wielded.

oh god i love this gun. it's pretty much a straight up shotgun in pistol form. that, and the design was bitchin'. really disappointed the brute shot and mauler never made it into reach though. would've loved to see reach tweak their design a bit, so that they looked badass still, but weren't a direct copy of the halo 3 variant.
